End of Promotion
There are so many promotions ending today! But don’t worry, more promotions are on their way. Also, the 2006 Retirement is just entering a new phase. Sure, it’s not a 20% discount anymore but it’s now a discount of 15% and that’s still quite a savings!

I FINALLY decided to take a vacation! It’s tough for me to leave my customers for a week but I eventually realized people could live without me for a week. So what did I decide to do? I took a cruise to Bermuda! It was a great vacation and I highly recommend it. Check out my pictures!

Our keynote speaker is Max Zahniser and he will be speaking about Sustainable Design. Right now I am busy sending out invitations and getting the event rolling! If you are in the Philadelphia area and haven’t...

Wednesday I went to the ribbon cutting for the AIA’s new Center for Architecture in Philadelphia. What a great gathering! It’s unbelievable how wonderful the space looks. I have to admit I am a little sad that they moved the bookstore from it’s previous location. It was in such close proximity to my office that I could go and peruse the books on my lunch hour. Unfortunately, the new location is a little too far for a lunchtime getaway.

read moreChoosing the Right Autodesk Reseller
You need Autodesk software but don’t know where to start? A good place is on Autodesk’s Web site. They have a link to all their resellers. Once you have a number of names and phone numbers, here are some good questions to ask: Where are you located? What are the services you offer your customers? Do you provide Technical Support? What is the price for Technical Support? What are the hours of Technical Support? How many offices do you have? Where are they located? How many Application Engineers do you have? Do they work directly...
read moreTransactional Ways
I just sent out letters to some of my prospects asking if they want something more than a transactional experience with their Autodesk Reseller. We shall see the type of response I receive. My gut tells me that people do want something more than a transactional experience. At least that is what I try to accomplish– I know my customer’s names, I call them regularly, I let them know what’s going on in the industry, I send them links I think they may enjoy. When the time comes they need something, we make sure it’s the...
read moreAutodesk Trials
People are always requesting I send them trials. These are probably the same people who are constantly talking about leaving a smaller carbon footprint. Well guess what? That smaller carbon footprint starts HERE! That’s right, there’s no reason for me to send you more plastic– you can simply download the trial software off the Autodesk Web site! How cool is that? These are 30 day trials. After 30 days they essentially become “viewers.” This means you can open up drawings or models but you...
